This will be Hopetoun’s sixth year hosting a horse trials following the first ever event back in 2011. The Gillespie Macandrew International Horse Trials is located on the magnificent estate with the 17th Century stately home Hopetoun House in the centre of the action. Only 12 miles West of Edinburgh and within 45 minutes of all cities in the central belt Hopetoun’s 2016 event is one of Scotland’s biggest annual horse trials attracting competitors from all over the world.
