Tree-mendous Walk in the Grounds – Fully Booked

November 8, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)
Every week until November 29, 2020

This walk is now fully booked.

Organised by the national garden tourism group Discover Scottish Gardens and supported by Visit Scotland, the Scottish Tree Festival returns for its third year.

Hopetoun is closed to the public in November, but this exclusive 2 hour Ranger-led walk will guide you through the nature and history of some of the specimen trees found throughout Hopetoun’s designed landscape. Look out for wildlife whilst learning about the historical use, folklore and natural history of the trees within the Hopetoun 144 acres. Bookings strictly limited to 12 people only.

You must only book tickets for individuals from the same household (max 6)

Tickets are on sale now for each Sunday in November 2020. Tickets are now sold out!

In line with the Scottish Government guidelines all visits to the Hopetoun Grounds must now be booked in advance, therefore we sadly cannot accommodate anyone turning up on the day without a pre-booked ticket.

Please meet the ranger in the car park (beside the ticket kiosk) at 1pm for a safety briefing. The walk will start from there. Sturdy footwear recommended.

Access requirements
For Sat Nav please use EH30 9RW which will take you into South Queensferry to Farquhar Terrace. From here you will be able to follow the brown signs to Hopetoun and it is a straight road from this point.

Please make sure you have investigated the details of your journey before you set off.

Arrivals after 12.55pm will unfortunately not gain access
