SUMMARY:The Collection
DESCRIPTION:Internationally renowned\, the Scottish Colourist\, Cara Mckinnon Crawford presents a collection of paintings from her travels in Scotland\, France\, Italy and Russia. \nCara is recognised for her dramatic paintings of Scotland which appear in collections worldwide. \nHer body of work\, “The Collection” focuses on Cara’s unique and atmospheric oil paintings\, depicting her deep connection with the breathtaking land and seascape of her native Scotland. \n  \nThe exhibition will be held in the Carriage Room at Hopetoun House\, one of Scotland’s most spectacular\, Adam built\, seventeenth century stately homes. \nThe exhibition opens on the 30th July 2016 – 31st August\, open daily from 10am – 5pm. (Saturday 13th and Saturday 27th the exhibition will only be open 10am – 12 noon and 3pm – 5pm). Entry is free to this exhibition. \n

DESCRIPTION:As the sun sets on a summers day\, we go wandering in the grounds to look for Hopetoun’s nocturnal residents and visitors. Bring a torch as the darker it gets\, the more we explore looking for bats\, moths\, owls and anything else that prefers night time hunting. The guided walk will last for approx 2 hours with tea/coffee provided at the end. \nMeeting Place: provided upon booking \nCost: Grounds entry fee £4.55 adult £2.80 child \nBOOKING ESSENTIAL.
