DESCRIPTION:Friday 23rd October 2026 | 9am–5pm \nThe Hopetoun House Education Department is delighted to welcome back artist Peter J Scott for a special one-day Sketchbook and Portfolio Preparation Workshop\, set within the magnificent surroundings of Hopetoun House. \nDesigned for aspiring young artists aged 12–20\, this workshop offers an opportunity to develop drawing and painting skills\, explore creative techniques and enhance portfolio work under expert guidance. \nThe morning will be spent drawing in the House and Grounds\, taking inspiration from Hopetoun’s remarkable architecture\, historic collections and surrounding landscape. \nIn the afternoon\, participants will move to the Education Room to develop larger-scale works\, with guidance and tuition from Peter throughout the day. \nAll drawing materials\, sketchbooks and paper will be provided. \nWorkshop Details\n\nDate: Friday 23rd October 2026\nTime: 9am–5pm\nAge Group: 12–20 years\nPrice: £70 per person\, including all materials and tuition\nMinimum Participants: 8\nBooking: Places allocated on a first-come\, first-served basis.\n\nWhether preparing a portfolio for further study or simply looking to develop artistic skills\, this workshop offers a wonderful opportunity for creativity and inspiration in the historic surroundings of Hopetoun. \nTo book: Please contact Peter J Scott directly at peterjscott@peterjscottfineart.com. \n\n\n\n\nSee less
