DESCRIPTION:This walk is now fully booked. \nOrganised by the national garden tourism group Discover Scottish Gardens and supported by Visit Scotland\, the Scottish Tree Festival returns for its third year. \nHopetoun is closed to the public in November\, but this exclusive 2 hour Ranger-led walk will guide you through the nature and history of some of the specimen trees found throughout Hopetoun’s designed landscape. Look out for wildlife whilst learning about the historical use\, folklore and natural history of the trees within the Hopetoun 144 acres. Bookings strictly limited to 12 people only. \nYou must only book tickets for individuals from the same household (max 6) \nTickets are on sale now for each Sunday in November 2020. Tickets are now sold out! \nIn line with the Scottish Government guidelines all visits to the Hopetoun Grounds must now be booked in advance\, therefore we sadly cannot accommodate anyone turning up on the day without a pre-booked ticket. \nPlease meet the ranger in the car park (beside the ticket kiosk) at 1pm for a safety briefing. The walk will start from there. Sturdy footwear recommended. \nAccess requirements\nFor Sat Nav please use EH30 9RW which will take you into South Queensferry to Farquhar Terrace. From here you will be able to follow the brown signs to Hopetoun and it is a straight road from this point. \nPlease make sure you have investigated the details of your journey before you set off. \nArrivals after 12.55pm will unfortunately not gain access

DESCRIPTION:The Hopetoun House Education Department is pleased to bring you another of the very popular art workshops with local artist Peter Scott. This two day sketchbook and portfolio prep course at Hopetoun House will run on the 9th and 10th of July (10:00am – 4:00pm)\n\nAll drawing materials\, sketchbooks and paper will provided. We will spend two days drawing in the house and gardens and working on larger scale works in the studio space at the house.\n\nThe cost for all included and tuition is only £80 per head.\n\nIt will run with a minimum of 10 spaces.\n\nFirst come first served basis.\n\nPlease share to all those aged 12 to 20 with an interest in drawing and painting and building folio work.\n\nTo book please contact Peter directly on peterjscott@peterjscottfineart.com
