DESCRIPTION:Join us for a delightful autumn stroll through the scenic Hopetoun Grounds\, where you’ll discover the incredible variety of fungi that flourish here. \nOur internationally renowned fungi lawns and mushroom-rich woodlands are the perfect backdrop for this gentle guided walk. \nYou’ll learn about the fascinating world of fungi\, but please note that we won’t be collecting any for the pot \nMake sure to dress appropriately for the Scottish autumn and wear sturdy shoes. \nPlease note that dogs are not permitted on Ranger-led walks. \nWe’ll meet at the old Kiosk in the visitor car park\, so plan to arrive 5 minutes before the walk begins. \nDetailed access information\, including gate codes\, will be emailed to you a week before the event. \nDon’t miss this opportunity to explore the wonders of nature this autumn! \nTicket prices: Adults £8.50 p/p Children £6.50 p/p \nBook tickets here

Families can follow an autumn-themed trail\, discover more about the natural world at Hopetoun and enjoy a selection of seasonal crafts throughout the day. \n  \nAutumn Trail & Seasonal Crafts \nVisit the Education Room to collect your autumn trail and take part in a range of seasonal craft activities. \nThen set out to explore the Grounds\, discovering the sights\, sounds and colours of autumn along the way. Whether you are enjoying a leisurely family walk\, getting creative with the children or simply making the most of a crisp autumn day in the countryside\, there is plenty to enjoy at Hopetoun. \n  \nOptional Guided Walks \nFor those wishing to discover more about Hopetoun’s natural heritage\, two guided walks will also take place throughout the day. \nFungi Walk | 10am–12pm\nJoin our guided walk through the Grounds and discover the fascinating world of fungi\, from familiar woodland varieties to some of the more unusual species found through out the Grounds. \nBook here  \nTree Walk | 2pm–4pm\nExplore the trees of Hopetoun and learn more about the different species that form an important part of this historical designed landscape. \nBook here \nPlease note: Separate tickets are required for the guided walks\, which are additional bookable activities. Dogs are not permitted on the guided walks. \n  \nFood & Refreshments \nThe Stables Kitchen will be open throughout the day\, offering a selection of seasonal refreshments\, including warming soups\, scones\, cakes\, tea and coffee — perfect for a cosy autumn break during your visit. \nDogs Welcome \nDogs are welcome in the Hopetoun Grounds and at The Stables Kitchen\, so your four-legged companions can enjoy the day with you. \nPlease keep dogs on leads while exploring the Grounds and be mindful of other visitors and estate wildlife. \nTickets \nAdult: £7 | Child: £4 | Family: £19  | Young Scot Card Holder: £1 \nTickets can be purchased here \nPre-booking is advised \n  \nPlease note: Admission is for the Grounds only.
