DESCRIPTION:This husband and wife team are both graduates of Edinburgh College of Art\, and have both pursued teaching careers in a college environment. Jean is a painter and Ian makes ceramics. \nTheir work has been shown at Hopetoun House for many years\, and they live and work on the Estate. This year’s exhibition will present new decorative and functional works for the contemporary domestic interior. \nExhibition runs from Monday 1St August until Monday 16th September in The Outer Room. \n11am until 4.30pm each day. \nClosed Tuesday and Wednesday each week. \nEntry to the exhibition is included in the ticket price

Well\, now’s your chance to find out!\nJoin our Victorian Housekeepers for a fun workshop. Dress up as servants\, explore the house\, and even try out some of the chores and crafts they did back then. It’ll be a real hands-on adventure!\nThis workshop is perfect for explorers aged 7 to 12\, and their grown-ups are welcome to join in the fun too.\n\nIf possible\, dress in black trousers or skirt and white shirt. Adults are very welcome to dress up too.
