Follow the Spring Garden Trail\, where daffodils and bluebells mark the season’s arrival\, or take in coastal views along the Sea Walk Trail\, looking out over the Firth of Forth and its iconic bridges.\nLeashed dogs are welcome to explore the Grounds with you\, and they can also enjoy a treat at The Stables Kitchen with you.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Stables Kitchen\n\n\n\nThe Stables Kitchen will once again be serving their delicious range of homemade treats and refreshments. \nThere will be some eggs-tra special chocolatey treats over our opening weekend. \nThe Stables Kitchen operates a counter service which offers guests home-style fare as well as a wide range of sweet treats and fresh artisan coffee and tea. \nPlease be aware that this year we have some closure and relocation dates so please ensure you check these before you travel to Hopetoun. \nThe dates are all listed here and will be updated throughout the year with any changes.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEaster Weekend Activities\n\n\n\nEaster crafts will be available from Friday – Monday (12pm – 4pm) in the Education Room.  You can also pick up your trail map and explore the Grounds following the Easter Trail through the wooded parkland. \nOn Easter Sunday (12pm – 4pm)\, you can meet our ‘unicorn’ friends and some enchanting therapy horses on Lime Avenue for a meet and greet or take a unicorn for a guided walk (an extra cost of £4 will apply to walk the unicorns). \nHouse and Grounds tickets available online or at the gate.

SUMMARY:Outlander Guided Tour of Hopetoun House and entrance to Midhope Castle
DESCRIPTION:Join us on a small group exclusive guided tour of the several Outlander locations inside Hopetoun House and outside in the Grounds.\n\nPrebooking is required.\n\nThe guided tour takes place every Friday. It starts at 11:30 and lasts approx. 90 minutes\, but your ticket lasts all day so you are welcome to stay at Hopetoun for as long as you wish (we close at 5pm).\n\nDuring the day you can also visit Midhope Castle\, better known as Lallybroch (located a few miles away) which is also included in the ticket price.\nPlease note: You need your own transport to travel between Hopetoun House and Midhope Castle (approx 3 miles apart). Guided tour is of Hopetoun House locations only.\n\nFind out more about Outlander at Hopetoun here\n\n** Tours are available during the 2025 visitor season.
