2025 Price Guide

At Hopetoun we can accommodate up to 200 guests for your Wedding Ceremony and up to 250 guests for your Wedding Reception.


Although open to the public from Easter Sunday to the end of September, we are able to accommodate at any time of the year, with exclusive use of the event areas. Full exclusive use is offered from October – Easter.


Heritage Portfolio hold the exclusive catering contract at Hopetoun House and our dedicated Hopetoun Wedding Manager and Heritage Portfolio’s Event Designer work alongside you to help create your special day. Both will be on hand throughout your preparations ensuring professional service and the perfect day for you and your guests to treasure.

Ceremony in Stables (optional) – £2,200 + VAT
Reception in Ballroom & Bar in Tapestry Room – £6,595 + VAT
Drinks Reception in State Apartments – £1,500 + VAT – ONLY AVAILABLE IN WINTER SEASON

Hopetoun Facility Fee Inclusions

  • Exclusive Use reception venue hire of the Ballroom, Tapestry Room & Tiger Hall
  • Exclusive Use of Hopetoun House (Excludes Easter until end of September when we are open to day visitors*)
  • Access to the State Apartments and grounds for bridal party photographs (maximum of 25 guests in the house)
  • Bar facility in the Tapestry Room
  • Real log fires in the Tapestry Room & Tiger Hall
  • Stage in the Ballroom (6m x 2m)
  • Dimmable period lighting in the Ballroom and classic up lighting of the exterior of Hopetoun from dusk
  • Private vanity room (non-accommodation, is not offered as a changing room pre-wedding ceremony)
  • Use of Hopetoun umbrellas & blankets
  • Green room for entertainers
  • Onsite wedding coordinator & venue staff

    *During our open season (Easter to end September) event areas are exclusive though there may be some visitors in the House and Grounds. Please discuss with us if you wish entire exclusive use during the Summer season.
