The Hopetoun Grand Experience
The Hopetoun Experience allows guests to explore every area of Hopetoun at their own pace — from the Historic State Apartments to the elegant Ballroom, the beautiful Adam Stables, and the picturesque courtyard set against the stunning backdrop of the House.
Designed as our large-scale event offering for groups of 400–800 guests, the Hopetoun Experience is particularly suited to Incentive, Corporate, and Association clients seeking an unforgettable evening of Scottish hospitality.
The suggested Hopetoun Experience outlined below can be tailored to suit your requirements:
A Grand Sense of Arrival
As guests arrive at Hopetoun, they will be welcomed by a traditional Scottish tribal band performing on the gravel area in front of the House.
Scottish Ceilidh in the Ballroom
The Ballroom will host a lively Scottish Ceilidh, accompanied by the Hopetoun Dancers, who will encourage guests to join in the festivities. A whisky bar will also be available, where guests can enjoy a “nip” of Scotland’s national drink.
Themed Rustic Bar in the Stables
The Stables will feature a Gin Bar serving a range of signature cocktails, accompanied by the smooth sounds of a Jazz Trio. Guests can relax and enjoy the fantastic bowl food on offer.
The Historic State Apartments
In the State Apartments, guests can enjoy the enchanting music of a Clarsach player (traditional Scottish harpist). Our knowledgeable guiding team will also be on hand to share stories and insights about Hopetoun’s fascinating history.
Interactive Outdoor Food Stations
Each Colonnade will feature an interactive cooking station where guests can watch our chefs prepare traditional Scottish savoury canapés. Delicious dessert canapés will also be circulated throughout the House.
The Finale
As the evening draws to a close, a surprise awaits. Guests will hear the stirring sound of a Pipe Band marching toward the House in full ceremonial dress. As the band retreats, a breath taking firework display will light up the sky — a spectacular finale to a truly memorable evening.
