Yes. All tickets must be pre-booked online in advance. Tickets will not be available to purchase on the day.

Adults: £11.00 per person
Children (5–16): £3.00 per person
Disabled: £7.00 per person

Please have your e-ticket ready on your phone (QR code) or bring a printed copy. Our Event Stewards will scan your tickets upon arrival.

Hopetoun House is located near South Queensferry, just west of Edinburgh.
The House is clearly signposted. Please follow brown tourist signs from South Queensferry.

Please note: There is no access from the Bo’ness Road A904, even if your Sat Nav suggests it.

No. There are no direct public transport routes to Hopetoun House. Visitors typically arrive by car or taxi.

Please arrive during the half-hour time slot stated on your ticket. Once here, you may stay as long as you like until the event closes at 4:30pm.

Yes. Free parking is available to all pre-booked ticket holders. Stewards will direct you to your space.

Yes. Please display your Blue Badge clearly and follow steward directions to our designated accessible parking area on hard standing near the entrance.

Yes. The site features a mixture of hard standing and small gravel paths, with ramp and lift access to the main areas. Please be aware that it may become busy at peak times.

Yes, though we recommend small prams or baby slings due to limited indoor space. Pram parking is available but limited.

Yes. The Stables Kitchen will be open from 10am–4:30pm daily, serving festive food and drinks. Seating is first-come, first-served.

Yes. A selection of outdoor food and drink stalls will offer seasonal flavours and festive favourites.

Our Festive Afternoon Tea experience is now sold out.

Over 50 Scottish makers and artisans will be joining us, including returning favourites and exciting new exhibitors.

Applications for the 2026 Fair will open in early Spring 2026.

Yes. Enjoy festive live music throughout the weekend, including brass bands and choirs. Full details will be announced closer to the event.

No. There is no ATM on site. Some exhibitors may not accept cards, so we recommend bringing cash.

Dogs on leads are welcome in the Grounds but not inside the Fair. Only registered assistance dogs are permitted in all indoor areas.

Yes. Indoor toilet facilities are available in each event area.

Yes, visitors are welcome to take photos for personal use. Tag us at @hopetounhouse on Facebook or Instagram.

Hopetoun staff will also be capturing photos and video during the Fair. By entering, you consent to the possibility of your image being used by the Hopetoun House Preservation Trust in digital media. If you prefer not to appear, please speak to a staff member on site.
