Opening Hours: Thursday – Monday, 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Last entrance at 4:00 PM)
Hopetoun House warmly welcomes coach tours and group bookings. We offer special group rates for parties of 15 or more. All visits include access to our extensive grounds, and there is no charge for drivers or accompanying guides.
Group Visit Options:
- Free-Flow Visit – £13.00 per person
- Introduction and welcome by our guides
- Explore the house at your own pace or with your own guide
- Interpretation sheets available in each room
- Guides on hand to answer questions
- Translation sheets available in French, German, Spanish, and Italian
(Recommended visit time: At least 1 hour)
- Guided Tour – £14.50 per person
- Introduction and welcome in the front hall
- 1.5-hour guided tour of the house in English
- Tailored tours available (e.g., art, architecture, Outlander)
- Minimum group size: 15 ( or minimum charge of £217.50 incl VAT)
Off-Season & Out-of-Hours Visits
Hopetoun House may be available for visits outside normal opening days/hours, subject to staff availability and private events.
- Guided Tour – £18.00 per person
- 1.5-hour guided tour of the house in English
- Interpretation and translation sheets available
- Minimum group size: 20 (or minimum charge of £360 incl VAT)
- Please note: Catering is unavailable on closed days
