Opening Hours: Thursday – Monday, 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Last entrance at 4:00 PM)
We offer special group rates for parties of 20 or more.
All visits include access to our extensive Grounds, and there is no charge for drivers or accompanying guides.
Group Visit Options:
Free-Flow Visit – £13.50 per person
- Introduction and welcome by our guides
- Explore the house at your own pace or with your own guide
- Interpretation sheets available in each room
- Guides on hand to answer questions
- Translation sheets available in French, German, Spanish, and Italian
Recommended visit time: At least 1 hour
Guided Tour – £15.00 per person
- Introduction and welcome in the front hall
- 1.5-hour guided tour of the house in English
- Tailored tours available (e.g., art, architecture, Outlander)
- Minimum group size: 20 ( or minimum charge of £300.00 incl VAT)
- Recommended visit time: Approx. 1.5 hours
Off-Season & Out-of-Hours Visits
It is possible to visit Hopetoun on our closed days; however, this is subject to staff availability and the absence of private events. Visiting out of season offers a particularly special experience, as your group may have the House almost entirely to yourselves. This rate also applies to visits arranged outside our normal opening hours of 11:00–17:00..
Guided Tour – £19.00 per person
- 1.5-hour guided tour of the house in English
- Interpretation and translation sheets available
- Minimum group size: 20 (or minimum charge of £380 incl VAT)
- Please note that catering is not available on these dates as The Stables Kitchen remains closed.
- Recommended visit time: Approx. 1.5 hours
