It is with heartfelt regret that we have made the decision to cancel this year’s Christmas Shopping Fair. Unfortunately under the current government restrictions there is no way that we can run the event in a safe and reliable way and in the same format that so many of our visitors love and enjoy. The safety of our staff, exhibitors and visitors is our primary concern and unfortunately with restrictions and the ever-changing environment that we currently live in, we are unable to guarantee that safety.
We have put a lot of time and research looking into how we could potentially run the event differently this year to be in line with the government restrictions but unfortunately that would involve the loss of over half our exhibitors and a strict cap on visitor numbers to the fair. The Christmas Shopping Fair is an event that is loved by many visitors and we believe that we would not be able to do the event justice by capping numbers and adding these restrictions. We will now concentrate on making our 2021 Fair the best one yet!
