Hopetoun House recognised as a 2023 Experts’ Choice Award Winner by Tripexpert.

Experts’ Choice is the only industry accolade based on professional reviews. We draw from 100+ publications including leading travel guides, magazines and newspapers. The award, now in its seventh year, has received coverage in major outlets including The New York Times, The Daily Telegraph and GQ.

Scotland, West Lothian – Wednesday 23 August, 2023 – Piers de Salis, General Manager, today announced that Hopetoun House has been recognized by Tripexpert as a 2023 Experts’ Choice award winner.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be awarded this accolade. Set in majestic grounds with nature trails and scenic walks, Hopetoun offers a place of beauty, tranquility and architectural magnificence dating from the 17th century. I would like to thank all the members of our team, both staff and volunteers, who work on sharing Hopetoun with our visitors both inside and outside and those who make the House and Grounds so presentable. This is a well-earned recognition of how we present and share Hopetoun.”

According to Chris Blume, Chief Content Officer, “Since last year’s awards, more than 300,000 new reviews have been added to our collection. We’ve especially focused on bringing together coverage in long-form articles (such as newspaper and magazine pieces). This has allowed us to provide even more accurate scores and rankings. Unlike other content businesses that increasingly use artificial intelligence to generate content, Tripexpert remains committed to the idea that the best travel advice comes from detailed, thoughtful reviews written by (human!) professionals.”

“This year’s winners have been chosen because travel professionals consider them to be the best of the best. We’re proud of their achievements and I look forward to working with them to help them share news of their award.”
