Hopetoun House recognised as a 2024 Experts’ Choice Award Winner by Tripexpert.
Piers de Salis, General Manager, today announced that Hopetoun House has been recognised by Tripexpert as a 2024 Experts’ Choice award winner.

There are 7,900 winners in 118 countries, the most recipients ever (up by 15% since last year) across three categories: hotels, restaurants and tourist attractions. Experts’ Choice recognizes the world’s best travel businesses. It’s the only industry accolade based on professional reviews from travel guides, magazines, newspapers, and other respected sources. Unlike user reviews, which are subject to abuse and bias, Tripexpert gathers only content written by people who have travelled extensively in the country that they’re covering and who can provide reliable and unbiased advice. In the last 12 months, the Tripexpert team has focused on adding reviews from new publications and for venues in new destinations. About 120,000 reviews have been added; many are extracts from long-form articles published in major newspapers and travel guides.

Hopetoun House is widely considered to be Scotland’s finest stately home. It has been home to the Hope Family since the late 1600’s and the current Earl of Hopetoun and his family still live in Hopetoun House.
Hopetoun House is open to day visitors from Good Friday to the last weekend in September each year.
