We are delighted to offer availability for individual guns to come along on one of our Simulated Game Days. We usually take a team of 6 or more, but if you are a single gun or know just a couple of people who would like to come along, we have a few dates where you can join others to make a team.

A simulated day consists of arrival on the estate for breakfast rolls followed by 3 drives in the morning, a 2 course lunch and a further 2 drives in the afternoon. Grouse, pigeon, duck, partridge and high pheasant drives are replicated throughout the day, please have a look at our Simulated Game Page for further information.

We have three dates available at the moment: Friday 18th September; Friday 2nd October; Saturday 3rd October and Friday 9th October.

Hopetoun is clearly sign posted from Glasgow and Edinburgh, we recommend you travel towards South Queensferry and follow the brown tourist signs.

Alternatively, for Sat Nav please use post code EH30 9RW which will direct you to Farquhar Terrace in South Queensferry, from here it is a straight road from this point for about 1.5 miles.

Please note that there is no access to Hopetoun House from the Bo’ness road A904 (even though your Sat Nav might tell you otherwise).

Car parking at Hopetoun is free of charge for visitors with a House & Grounds or Grounds only ticket, with the exception of large public events where additional charges may apply.
