This October break you are cordially invited to become a Victorian House servant. Dress up in the uniform they would wear, learn about the servant hierarchy and the types of jobs they would have to do. Butter making, quill penning and Victorian Street games will all be part of this immersive experience, available in our closed visitor season. Only available to children aged 7 – 12 years old.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults are encouraged to join in the fun!

Cost: £8 per child, one accompanying adult £2, all other adults £8

Please note that there is no access to Hopetoun House from the Bo’ness road A904 (even though your Sat Nav might tell you otherwise).

Car parking at Hopetoun is free of charge for visitors with a House & Grounds or Grounds only ticket, with the exception of large public events where additional charges may apply.
