For the very first time Spartans can take on Hopetoun Estate. Expect a course that is as breath-taking as it is brutal. Challenge yourself to a Sprint (5K), Super (10K) or the Beast (21K) or if you are feeling brave take on all 3 in a day and complete the coveted one day Trifecta. Those racing competitively will also have the opportunity to take part in the Beast Race which forms part of the UK National Series for 2025. Plus there is something for the whole family to enjoy with the Spartan Kids Race.

Please note that this event is taking place within the wider Hopetoun Estates and not within the main house and grounds.

Hopetoun is clearly sign posted from Glasgow and Edinburgh, we recommend you travel towards South Queensferry and follow the brown tourist signs.

Alternatively, for Sat Nav please use post code EH30 9RW which will direct you to Farquhar Terrace in South Queensferry, from here it is a straight road from this point for about 1.5 miles.

Please note that there is no access to Hopetoun House from the Bo’ness road A904 (even though your Sat Nav might tell you otherwise).

Car parking at Hopetoun is free of charge for visitors with a House & Grounds or Grounds only ticket, with the exception of large public events where additional charges may apply.
