Step into a world of faeries and folklore at Hopetoun and enjoy a magical family day out as part of our Family Discovery Days series.
Designed to spark imagination and encourage outdoor exploration, this enchanting event invites families to discover the Grounds in a whole new way. Follow a magical faerie trail, get creative with themed crafts in the Education Room, and gather for storytelling in the Carriage Room.
Led by our award-winning Ranger & Education Team, Fabled Faeries offers a relaxed and engaging experience for children and adults alike—perfect for those who love a little magic woven into their day.

All activities are included with your admission ticket. Visitors can choose between a Grounds Only ticket or a House & Grounds ticket, which also includes access to the historic House where our knowledgeable guides bring Hopetoun’s story to life.

The Stables Kitchen will be open and serving a selection of seasonal homemade sweet and savoury options.
Little one’s can enjoy the Little Explorers Lunch (£6.50), including:
