Come along to Hopetoun Farm Shop on Thursday 19th November for a fabulous late night shopping evening with free foodie samples, special guests and 10% off your Christmas shopping.*
Enjoy complimentary mulled wine, mince pies and shortbread whilst you browse the shop’s huge selection of award winning food and drink, most of which is Scottish, plus locally reared butchery produce from the Hopetoun farm. There will also be the chance to sample some of the Estate’s award winning turkey which you can pre-order for Christmas dinner plus tasters of the butcher’s famous steak pies filled with Hopetoun Aberdeen Angus beef.
There will also be guest appearances on the night including the Linties – a local children’s choir from Linlithgow who’ll be entertaining shoppers with carols from 6.30pm until 7pm. Also playing a starring role will be local food writer and chef Christopher Trotter. Christopher is showcasing his collection of cookery books which he’ll happy to sign and personalise for any recipient. Another special guest guaranteed to get your taste buds going is Elaine Forrest, the owner and chocolatier at Wicked Chocolate in Perthshire , who will be sampling her fine handmade chocolates in-store.
Also joining us on the evening are De Brus Brewery bringing their popular micro brewery ales from Dunfermline and The Very Lovely Sauce Company from Anstruther who make the most amazing caramel sauces including a very festive gingerbread variety!
Shoppers can also have fun building personalised gift hampers filled with their all your favourite preserves, biscuits or traditional confectionery. Why not add a cookery book signed by Christopher to your hamper? There will also be plenty of readymade Hopetoun hampers on display hand built by the staff featuring Hopetoun’s best selling items – a guaranteed win with any foodie this Christmas!
This special evening takes place within Hopetoun Farm Shop at Newton near South Queensferry and takes place from 6pm until 9pm.
