Sketchbook & Portfolio Preparation Workshop with Peter J Scott

The Hopetoun House Education Department is delighted to welcome back artist Peter J Scott for a special one-day Sketchbook and Portfolio Preparation Workshop, set within the magnificent surroundings of Hopetoun House.
Designed for aspiring young artists aged 12–20, this workshop offers an opportunity to develop drawing and painting skills, explore creative techniques and enhance portfolio work under expert guidance.
The morning will be spent drawing in the House and Grounds, taking inspiration from Hopetoun’s remarkable architecture, historic collections and surrounding landscape.
In the afternoon, participants will move to the Education Room to develop larger-scale works, with guidance and tuition from Peter throughout the day.
All drawing materials, sketchbooks and paper will be provided.
