Internationally renowned, the Scottish Colourist, Cara Mckinnon Crawford presents a collection of paintings from her travels in Scotland, France, Italy and Russia.

Cara is recognised for her dramatic paintings of Scotland which appear in collections worldwide.

Her body of work, “The Collection” focuses on Cara’s unique and atmospheric oil paintings, depicting her deep connection with the breathtaking land and seascape of her native Scotland.

The exhibition will be held in the Carriage Room at Hopetoun House, one of Scotland’s most spectacular, Adam built, seventeenth century stately homes.

The exhibition opens on the 30th July 2016 – 31st August, open daily from 10am – 5pm. (Saturday 13th and Saturday 27th the exhibition will only be open 10am – 12 noon and 3pm – 5pm). Entry is free to this exhibition.

Hopetoun is clearly sign posted from Glasgow and Edinburgh, we recommend you travel towards South Queensferry and follow the brown tourist signs.

Alternatively, for Sat Nav please use post code EH30 9RW which will direct you to Farquhar Terrace in South Queensferry, from here it is a straight road from this point for about 1.5 miles.

Please note that there is no access to Hopetoun House from the Bo’ness road A904 (even though your Sat Nav might tell you otherwise).

Car parking at Hopetoun is free of charge for visitors with a House & Grounds or Grounds only ticket, with the exception of large public events where additional charges may apply.
