The Hopetoun Morinda Spruce was shortlisted for the Woodland Trust Tree of the Year competition recently. After a few weeks on the campaign trail, gathering important votes, the voting was closed on October the 9th.
Hopetoun Estate is saddened to hear that Bede Events has taken the decision not to host the horse trials at Hopetoun in 2017.
The Woodland Trust is looking for the Scottish Tree of the year 2016 and the Morinda Spruce at Hopetoun House has been shortlisted as a contender.
